Bedlington Investment Strategy

Wansbeck District Council has commissioned Shared Intelligence, Donaldsons and Willie Miller Urban Design to assess how well the town of Bedlington meets the needs of Wansbeck residents for homes, jobs and community facilities and to prepare a strategy for future improvement of the town including a master plan for the town centre. The study is likely to propose a restructuring of the area north of Front Street with better definition of public realm, a new health centre and low density residential development.
