Motherwell and Wishaw Action Plan
This report was commissioned by North Lanarkshire Council to provide context for consideration of an outline planning application for the redevelopment of the Ravenscraig site, including the creation of a new town centre.
The brief calls for a strategic view of the future roles of Motherwell and Wishaw town centres if a new town centre is developed at Ravenscraig, an action plan to achieve those roles, an outline work programme, with indicative costs, identification of funding sources and recommendations for a delivery mechanism for the action plan.
The lead consultant for this study is yellow book with Kevin Murray Associates, WMUD, McLean Hazel and Turner & Townsend.
